HOW TO REMOVE BAMBOO PROPERLY (AND STOP IT COMING BACK)

For best results, we strongly recommend the entire plant be killed off completely using poison. This is often not possible to do when at full height. Below is a step by step guide to how best to kill bamboo forever.

Cutting & Chipping Bamboo

Get Tree King in to cut down and chip up the bamboo. We will do our best to recycle this as mulch without tip fees. We remove everything we cut from site.

Stump Grinding Roots
We will then stump grind all bamboo roots. We can only grind what we see above ground.

Spraying Treatment

For areas the stump grinder can’t reach, we use a specialist leaf-absorbed poison that works best when the plant is allowed to grow larger first.

Regrowth Monitoring

Let the bamboo regrow to at least knee height, then spray it with a specialised poison. It can take up to six weeks to fully kill the plant, so avoid cutting new shoots during this time.
